Robert Tornel is the founding coach of Fury FC IE and the Boys Director of Coaching. Robert brings a vast amount of coaching and playing experience. He won the USASA National Amateur Cup, played internationally in Mexico for the Tecos and Xolos and played locally for the Ontario Fury. Robert has also coached at the Professional, Junior College, and High School levels.

Director of Coaching - Girls

Israel Sesay exited Legends FC in 2019 to join Fury FC IE as the Girls Director of Coaching. An international phenom from the land of Sierra Leone, Sesay brings a vast amount of professional experience. Sesay has competed professionally at all levels, having played on the US Youth National Team, the LA Galaxy, and the Empire Strykers (formerly Ontario Fury). Sesay has had the opportunity to play alongside the likes of David Beckham, Jermaine Jones, Landon Donovan, and Adrien Perez.

A professional athlete for over twelve years, Uzi has worked with an array of the best coaches across soccer — and developed his own award-winning approach to the game. He coaches youth of all ages in Southern California to cultivate emerging talent, outline the fundamentals of the sport, develop critical individual ball and life skills, teach fitness and discipline, and underscore the importance of teamwork.

Goalkeeping

Claysson has played goalie since he was 6 years old. He has played for 2 first-division clubs in Rio Brazil: 7 years for Fluminense FC, and 2 years for Botafogo FR, in which they won State Cup of Rio. He moved here when he was 19 years to play for Los Angeles Force in the NISA league. He has been with Empire Strykers (formerly Ontario Fury) since 2018 and was awarded MASL's Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021.
